ACTION POINTS ARISING FROM 16/1/06 CWCF MEETING: Topic Papers (B/F 10/1/05 ) Pauline Adenwalla is still seeking volunteers to take ownership of Built Environment, Community & Leisure, Green Issues and Social Inclusion. Transport (B/F 10/1/05 & 16/1/06): Multi-modal study A multi-modal study is planned for 2006 and an outline will be given at the February RCC meeting. Given level of debate at CWCF meetings, SP to circulate CWCF for comments. Lower Road study : The result of the Lower Road study had been received and would be available shortly. KM would ensure that CWCF are notified of the outcome (still awaited). Education (B/F 11/7/05): Statistical data showing how many primary school children currently living on the peninsula were actually being schooled elsewhere and vice versa remains outstanding. Mike Smith (LBS Education to attend future Forum). Mellish Fields (B/F 14/11/05 & 16/1/06): NR provided a written update for 16/1/06 Forum and will attend 27/2/06 to report on progress. New Library at Canada Water SP to circulate details on plans for the new library (ie timescale, facilities to be provided). Youth: SP had circulated a draft for consideration by the Executive (December 06) and once agreed, he would circulate CWCF. Downtown: Barretts’ application had been refused and had gone to Appeal (25/4/06 – venue to be confirmed). Site B: (a) SP/PR to confirm that the density is 700 per units on the residential portion of the site EXCLUDING the new library and Deal Porter Square and whether this density complies with the SPG for Canada Water. (b) SP/PR to clarify whether Rotherhithe Housing Forum will be using space earmarked on Site B[2]. Site D: Block 7 has gone to Appeal and a date awaited. Mulberry: The application has gone to appeal and a decision is expected w/c 2/2/06. Future role of the Forum A task force would be formed to look at funding for CWCF and PA to liaise with landowners and provide a plan outlining funding proposal for CWCF role. In addition, LBS officers will investigate funding and report at the next meeting (27/2/06).
